Pricing

What's free?: Free for teachers. Parents get 30 days free, then $4.95 a month per parent. Teachers and coaches never pay — no trial, no clock. Each parent gets their first 30 days free with no card, then it's $4.95 a month.
What does $4.95 a month cover?: Everything: every class or extracurricular feed your kids are in, as many as you like; Google Calendar sync; the review queue where optional and uncertain things wait for your decision; and, if you choose to link your Gmail, every critical event and task related to your kids. There is one plan and one price.
Do both parents need to pay?: Only if both want their own login. It's $4.95 a month per parent, and each parent gets their own 30 free days. One parent can run the whole household on a single subscription; invite the other from Settings → Household when they want in.
When do the 30 days start?: The day you sign up and create your household. Settings → Billing shows where you stand. We don't ask for a card until you decide to subscribe.
Am I a teacher?: If you host a class feed — a class address that parents follow with a code — you're a teacher, and that account is free. Sign up with your school email and pick Teacher, or create a class address from the teacher page. For your own kids, sign up separately with your personal email as a parent — that's where the 30 free days and the $4.95 a month apply.
What happens if I stop paying?: Bippity pauses. It stops scanning your inbox, stops syncing to Google Calendar, and locks the review queue and briefs. Everything it already put on your calendar stays there, and nothing you've set up is deleted. Subscribe again and it picks up where it left off.
I signed up before there was a price. What changes for me?: Nothing. Every household created before September 21, 2026 is free through August 2029. There's nothing to do — Settings → Billing shows the date.

Your inbox and your calendar

What gets scanned for in my Gmail?: Bippity has one job in your Gmail: find your kids' school and activity emails and figure out what deserves your attention. Access is read-only — it can't send, delete, or change anything. It keeps the dates and to-dos it finds, never a copy of your inbox. Google requires an independent security review before any app can read Gmail; Bippity passed it. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Can I disconnect?: Any time, in one tap: Settings → Connections, or straight from your Google account's permissions page. Disconnecting stops scanning immediately.
Do I need Google Calendar?: No — everything Bippity finds is on your dashboard and the in-app calendar. But connecting Google Calendar is where it pays off: events land on the calendar your family already looks at, on your phone, without opening anything. Bippity syncs to your primary calendar so nothing is hidden behind a toggle.
Does everything it finds go straight onto my calendar?: Only real commitments do — a rescheduled practice, a permission slip due Friday, an RSVP that closes tomorrow. Anything optional (a festival, a fundraiser, a camp you haven't signed up for) or anything Bippity isn't sure about waits in Needs Your Input for you to decide. Your thumbs-up and thumbs-down teach it what your family wants.
I only want to follow my kid's class. Do you need my inbox?: No. Enter the class code your teacher shares and the class feed lands on your calendar — we never touch your inbox. Connect Gmail later if you want the personal stuff too, like the coach asking your kid specifically to bring goalie gear.
